December 21st - Unusual cookie cutters
While surfing the web I bumped into a pair of unusual items, that I found totally brilliant and amusing.
Created by Andreas Trenker, a young South Tyrolean multidisciplinary designer, these cookie cutters reflect and draw up some of the best prides of our land:
Spicy taste, contemporary design, local history, typical landscapes!
The Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Drei Zinnen in German):
The three majestic peaks, in the Sexten Dolomites, probably one of the best-known mountain groups in the Alps, mother the cutter for crispy cookies!

Ötzi, the iceman:
A man that lived around 5,000 years ago in the Neolithic age, one of the world’s best-known and most important wet-mummies, discovered fully clothed and with numerous belongings on the Ötztal glacier. The Iceman already inspired a chocolate, so why not biscuits?

I think it's a perfect fanciful gift I recommend for bakery addicted and South Tyrol lovers!
(I am getting in touch with Andreas and trying to find out where to buy, let me investigate!)
Update: At present, you can only order the cookie cutters via email, but soon a related website will be available.
